An Evening of Art Chat (hosted and moderated by Brian Schorn) is an opportunity to gather as a group to share and discuss artwork of all kinds. For example, you may ask specific questions about a piece of art that you are working on, share a famous artwork that you enjoy, or ask a general question about how to interpret contemporary art. Art Chat is an open, safe environment intended to provide constructive criticism, support and understanding. Please bring a piece of art that you would like to share with the group. It may be your own work-in-progress or a completed work. If you are not an artist with your own art, please bring someone else's art or a printed example of any other artwork (famous, infamous or somewhere in between).
Anyone with an interest in art is encouraged to attend.
Refreshments will be served.
This program is coordinated by The Association for Lifelong Learners at Alpena Community College.
